We recently found a bug where too long sample names (more then 73-characters) would cause the error you describe. Is that the case for you? Note, this bug has been fixed for the next version of PARADISe. Alternatively, there is a default setting (MaxTime) which limits how long NISTMS is allowed to search. The default is 5 seconds per spectra, you can try doubling it. If neither of these solve the problem, then I suggest you to reset the paradise diary (in the Logbook tab) and try generating the PARADISe report again. This will fail, but the diary will now contain information relevant for us to debug the issue.
