Error when downloading Paradise
Hi,
I tried downloading PARADISe, but I keep getting this error.
"The code execution cannot proceed because VCRUNTIME140.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem."
How do I solve this?

First off, are you installing PARADISe with or without the Matlab runtime include?
Second, it seems to be a windows Visual Studio related issue, so maybe try to repair or update your visual studio, c.f. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-US/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170

Hi,
I tried installing PARADISE with Matlab on Windows 11 using Parallels Desktop.
Did you use the PARADISe with MATLAB runtime or PARADISe without Matlab runtime for the installation?
It seems the error occurs for many different windows applications and has something to do with Visual C++ redistributable for Visual Studio 2015. A suggest fix is to uninstall and reinstall that program, available here https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145 .

Note, we have not tested PARADISe using Parallels Desktop, so please let us know if this fixes the issue and potentially any additional hoops you have to jump through, so the next user can (hopefully) avoid it.

Thanks for your advice, I installed Visual Studio (I downloaded both the x86 and the x64 version) and it seems it fixed the issue and I could install PARADISe.
