Hello

im comparing the Paradise results to the manual integration results and i have some doubts. When i use Chemstation i see my chromatogram starts at 1 minute but Paraside only does it at minute 4.  I see in the tutorial that you have paradise chromatograms from minute 1... so i wonder if you knew why this may be hapening.

Thank you very much for your help.

Best regards

Hi Guest,

It sounds strange, the retention time axis should be similar in both programs. First of, what version of PARADISe are you using? and does the problem occur if you reset the session?

How many chromatograms are you loading? and are you loading them one at a time or all at once? Do they all start at 1 minute in Chemstation or is it only one sample? Are there any data/peaks before the 4 minute mark?

Best,
Jesper

Hi Jesper

I have just tried to do the conversion to CDF once again just for one chromatogram and now i see it from minute 1.

I wonder if it is a problem of the conversion, the data alignment, or something else. Im checking more this to come bakc to you.

But just so you know

First of, what version of PARADISe are you using?  version 6.0.1.

and does the problem occur if you reset the session? whn i load a different session with only one newly converted CDF file then it does not occur

How many chromatograms are you loading? im loading more than 100 chromatograms.

and are you loading them one at a time or all at once? loading them at once (select all)

Do they all start at 1 minute in Chemstation or is it only one sample? all start at aprox 1 minute at chem station

Are there any data/peaks before the 4 minute mark? yes there are.... in fact im loosing isoprene when i use Paradise with this issue im telling you.

But i will keep trying to see if it is a conversion issue, a loading many files issue, or sth else.

Thank you very much

It sounds like the conversion goes wrong for some files. If you load the converted files back into Chemstation, do they start at 1 or 4 min?

We are definitely not interested in PARADISe through away part of the retention time and this shouldn't happen. If you identify the issue or have additional question, just let us know.

If identify a working and a corrupted CDF file, then I would appreciate if you send it to jlh @food.ku.dk. Then I might be able to identify the issue and either solve it (if it occurs in PARADISe) or implement a more helpful error/warning message if it happens in the future.
