Intallation error

Hi

I am trying to install the PARADISe software on our lab computer. For doing this I have downloaded the full package with the MatLab runtime (giving the file Paradise-v6.0.1-with-matlab-runtime.zip).

I have unpacked the file, without any errors. Then i try to run the file MyAppInstaller_mcr.exe. But then i gives me the following error:

The code execution cannot proceed because VCRUNTIME140.dll was not found.

I have tried to down load it once more and then install it again

It is a win 11 computer without internet access

Any idea on what is going on here? and how to fix it?

Hi Lars,

We have encounter this issue once before and it seems to be a Windows issue relating the the Visual C++ redistributable for Visual Studio. If this is the same problem you are encountering, then see if following this thread helps https://ucphchemometrics.com/forum/topic/error-when-downloading-paradise/

Thanks for the quick answer!
I will try to get it installed/updated, but will probably check with Agilent before I do it. Have had way to many software problems in the lab

Just wanted to let you know that it worked after I manually moved the missing file into the system32 folder. So now I have the program running.
